Perimeter Fencing
Many residents replaced worn perimeter fencing this spring and I would like to thank them for doing so. The new fencing is beautiful and certainly enhances the appearance of the community.
Berry Hill Triangle Plantings
The Village has recently put in new plants and flowers in the triangles at the intersections of Berry Hill Road /25A and Berry Hill Road/Sandy Hill Road, This is a nice improvement and we hope you agree.
25A Repaving Project
The long awaited repaving of 25A has been completed and is a noticeable improvement. The turning lane on to Yellow Cote Rd is now more clearly delineated.. It has been our experience that with newly paved roads, there is an increase in speeding. Our Police are obligated to issue speeding tickets. Please advise your visitors of this exposure.
EV Charging Installations
Now that there seems to be some major national agreement on Electrical Vehicle Charging standards, the expectation is that many more EV installations will now take place. Please note that the Village has an expedited EV charging permit that you can take advantage of.
Selling Homes with Outstanding Violations
Oyster Bay Cove has had some incidents of residents selling their homes with outstanding violations. The Village has little tolerance for this, since it is unfair to the community and the new buyer. In one recent case, the Village collected a large fine from the now out of state seller.. There are a few of these situations pending and I can assure you we will preserve the Village's rights.
Now that the smoke has cleared, I hope you all have a chance to enjoy what our area has to offer.
Enjoy the Summer,
Charles R. Goulding
